When is it time to ask for assistance?
It may be hard to accept but most of us will require some type of care assistance after the age of 65. As independent individuals, we are used to doing everything ourselves, and as we get older, things start to get a little bit more complicated. It’s important to know when you need help.
Most individuals ignore the signs of aging, and then one day, aging will just sneak up on us. You can seem fine today, but as mental and physical health decline, parents or senior loved ones will need the assistance. Most parents are in denial and don’t think that they need assistance because most people can’t fathom the thought of losing their independence.
Here are some signs that you need assistance:
- Changes in mood
- Cluttered / Dirty homes
- Confusion / Uncertainty
- Poor personal hygiene
- Forgetfulness
When happiness and health are being compromised, it’s time to have a conversation about the changes and start improving the quality of life while remaining independent.

Post-Surgical Assistance
After surgery, a stay in the hospital can make a life a little bit more challenging, but that is where we come in to guide you back to excellence. An individual can be limited in their daily living activities. Whether you are recovering from major surgery, childbirth, or plastic surgery, our compassionate caregivers can assist you to a healthy and complete recovery.
